Archie!

So the Walker family have a new addition! A minature Yorkshire Terrier called Archie!

He is such a cutie when he is asleep, but when he is awake he turns into a little mutant ankle biter! Haha! You don't dare take your shoes off around him, he will sit and chew on your toes!

So Craig rang me asking if I could bring the babygate over to put across the stairs to stop Archie going up the stairs, as he cannot get back down again! Lol!

Jobs, Diets, Life!

Well...I did get the Naafi job AND the Morrisons job! Wohooo!

So at the moment my shifts are half an hour between each other! Which doesn't give me much time to actually get changed and get to the next shift! I often go 9 hours without food! =(

Which brings me onto the diet! It isn't really a proper diet, all I do is make a note of everything I eat on Myfitnesspal.com and then do some Wii Fit to try and burn the calories! The last two weeks haven't been too successful, staying at the same weight for both weigh ins, but today's weigh in was delightful! -3lbs! Wohoo!

So going to keep going and see how much weight I can loose!

Will keep this as updated as possible! =P

Still no call...

I am still waiting for a call to see if I got the Naafi job. I am so tense now urgh =(

A new chapter.....

So, I have successfully got a job at Morrisons working on the checkouts =) I also applied for a job at the Naafi, just waiting for a phone call to let me know if I got the job! *Fingers, toes, arms, legs, eyes crossed*

The plan was to work at the Naafi (as long as I get the job) from 10.00am till 2.00pm Monday to Friday then work evenings and weekends at Morrisons (as advertised).

However, just received my offer letter from Morrisons in the post giving me 5 shifts a week (which is fab!) on the downside, 2 of the shifts will clash the other job =(

So now, to wait.........

1. Wait to find out if I have got the Naafi job!
2. If I haven't, then no problem.
3. If I have, then will have to ring Morrisons and ask them if I can change the two shifts that clash.
4. If that doesn't work, I will have to pick one job or the other!

Urgghhhh =(

Anyhoo I shall forget about it for now. It is my mums birthday today, so I am going to meet her at work for 2.30pm and we are going to go out for lunch =D on me! (£10.00 budget :-/)

Camping in The Lake District!

So dad had an impulse buy of a new tent =P so we decided to test it out and spent the night in the Lakes!! Beautiful views, lambs, calves, coals and piglets! =D

New Phone...

So I finally got bored of my iphone and decided to get an Android phone! Got myself a Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 =)

I do miss the apple software but I am getting used to Android and this phone has a slightly better camera!

So a lot has happened since my post before last =)

Dad bought a Honda Innova.ANF125.
I had a night out in The Brinkburn, where Craig and Gary got harassed by a random drunk!
Craig and I built a jigsaw =)
And...
Mum, Dad and I went camping in The Lakes last night =) we then drove to the Scottish Borders to visit Mama & Papa! We got chicken and chips for tea (well I had Rice instead of chips =P).

Sleep deprivation...

So I finally drifted off to sleep about 5am and woke up at 8.10am urgghhhh :(

So I am sat in front of the telly trying to distract myself. I think I shall have to try and power nap whenever my cough is a little better!

On a plus side, the sun is shining :) and it is quite warm!

I think Summer is finally here!

Well fancy a BBQ!

Still awake......

So I am still awake and coughing my guts up :( mum came down about 2.30am and we rang NHS Direct 111 No. However they were not particularly helpful :( nurse said there is nothing to do except carry on as I am O.o

I am bloody exhausted! I am going to miss out on a trip to IKEA as well :(

Aaaarrrggggghhhhhhhhh!!!!!

I could SCREAM! this cough is actually getting worse! I am not evening coughing up mucus anymore it is just saliva :-/

I have been coughing my guts up for an hour and it just won't STOP! *cries* no wonders I have burst a blood vessel in my eye! I expect the other eye will burst soon too!

Massively sucks :( I just want the ground to swallow me up and make it all stop hmph!

I think I shall have to just stay up and try and cough up whatever I can O.o

I wish I was a panda.....

The SUN is SHINING!!!!! WOHOOO!

The weather today has been FABULOUS! Super sunny and super hot! However my cough has been a bloody pain in in the arse! So I popped to Morrisons to get some paracetamol, anti-histamines, breathe easy nasal strips and chicken bites *Nom* a strange shopping basket perhaps! I spent most of the afternoon indoors typing up Programmes for the Boys Brigade Activity Weekend and making up certificates!

I am currently sat watching the Lottery......Secret Fortune, where there is a right pair of idiots trying to win money.....they got rid of the highest amount of money on the first go! NOOBS!

So I was having a nosy through my pictures and found that one.....the Tardis and K-9 made for the Boys Brigade Arts Festival.......and it got 1st place!

Bad night :(

I had a bad night last night, the cough was making my eye hurt even more :( I woke up this morning to this...

I probably look like a bloody zombie or something *fail*

Well I am being productive today :) I have Programmes and certificates to sort out for the Boys Brigade Activity Weekend at Broomley Grange :)

Just testing my blogger app for the iPad! It appears to be working pretty well! Going to try putting a photo on =P

wohoo it seems to have worked!

Urgghh....

So when I went to bed I tried to put my Tongue bar back in (I had taken it out on Thursday to clean seeing as I had been really sick and there probs was loads of bacteria on it). However....it would NOT go back in :( bugger. Oh well I shall just have to leave it out.

So it is 3.35am and I am still awake....the inhaler has helped my cough a little but made my mouth super dry so I am once again finding it extremely difficult to sleep :(

A bloody car alarm keeps going off as well, hmpphh.

This evenings activity...

So tonight feeling a little sorry for myself as my cough is still being a pain in the bum I decided to sit in the lounge with my parents and we watched a film :)

"RED" was the film that we watched. Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren......retired CIA agents! FAB film! Very silly but very funny! Bruce Willis is still looking good too! =P

My cough got gradually worse as the night went on (I think my inhaler is helping a little) so mother decided to put some olbas oil in boiling water and get me to breathe in the vapours! Turns out she put TOO much oil in and now it is strong enough to blow your head off! So I have left it in my room....hopefully it will help me sleep!

Neglected....

Ok so it has been months since I posted which is awful :(

So since November 2010.....

It was Christmas =]
then New Year! Wohoooo! 2011!
I got a new iPhone! [well not new, second hand actually but still an iPhone!]
Got sacked from the Estate Agents.....
Me and my boyfriend split up after nearly 4 years! [however our relationship is much the same now as it was when we were "together" so makes you think!]
I got an iPad!
I made a Tardis and K-9 for this years Boys Brigade arts competition and WON!!!!!

Most recently.....

Saturday - went to the Walk in Centre because I felt kidney pain. Diagnosed with a water infection. Gave me antibiotics.

Sunday - felt like crap but I was taking the Mothering Sunday church parade so I went. Went to Craigs house afterwards.....was sick :( then got a couple of hours kip. Went home and was sick more, all day :(

Monday - went to the doctors who made me pee in a bottle to send to the lab, gave me different antibiotics and sent me on my way.

Tuesday - feeling better even managed to eat!

Wednesday - sick, sick, sick! Went back to Walk in Centre and saw a doctor who gave me anti sickness pills and some different antibiotics. Mum and I went to Sainsburys to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription. I was sick. On the floor. In front of everyone. *FAIL* Eventually got home and tried the anti sickness pill. You dont swallow it you put it on your gum and let it dissolve.....45 minutes later....SICK SICK SICK SICK! :( Rang NHS 111 who made me another appointment to see a doctor at the Walk in Centre (it was 10.30pm by this point). Doc took one look at me and admitted me straight to hospital! To be honest if he hadn't I would have taken myself there I felt so ill! After being prodded and poked and had a canular in I was sent to x-ray to check my chest. I was given an anti sickness injection and tried to sleep however I had a really bad cough and the little old lady opposite me would NOT SHUT UP! LMAO! bless her she was lovely but couldn't half talk you to death! I think I managed a couple of hours kip on and off before 7.30am arrived and the lights were on and breakfast was ready! I had toast and coffee plus some pills. Some doctors came to see me and advised that I did NOT have a water infection after all and all these antibiotics were doing me no good. Apparently I now have a Viral Infection and I have to cough up all the crap in my lungs, with the help of some pills that help break it all up. Mum and I sat in the discharge lounge for an HOUR waiting for these said pills. On the plus side we got coffee and sandwiches =]

Thursday - arrived home early afternoon and tidied my bedroom (which had random buckets of sick still lying about) urgh! Had a shower and despite my horrid cough I went to Boys Brigade. It was a good distraction, I couldn't stop the cough but I didn't feel as much pain :)
Cue nighttime! The cough was ten million times worse come midnight and I was at the point where my body was in spasm every time I tried to cough :( I was reduced to breathing only though one nostril to try and keep the cough at bay, so not much sleep and very achy by morning.

Friday (today) - there is no chance I was going to put myself through another night like last night so I booked another appointment at the doctors for 3.25pm. Mum got off work to take me. The doc gave me an inhaler to try and reduce the cough. He said my Liver results were high so I could have a gallstone and I had to keep an eye on my temperature over the weekend. (Parents were going up to Scotland to visit my Mama and Papa but they are going to stay at home and keep an eye on me - as I could end up in hospital again if I do have a gallstone).

So overall an eventful week this week....fingers crossed tonight isn't so horrendous.

I have job interview at Morrisons next Friday to be a Checkout Operator....not exactly ambitious but it is a job and a job means money.

I think I shall watch a film with my rents tonight =]

Tuesday

So I went to Edinburgh on Saturday by train [first class]- it was a fabulous weekend!!!! COLD but fab! We had a lovely meal in the Hard Rock Cafe on George Street. [It was VERY expensive!] Then we eventually got a taxi to The Art House Hostel which we had booked to stay in. When we got there ---> there was no answer =O I rang the owner on his mobile [he was half a mile away in the local pub]. He said we had to walk down to the pub [with all our bags] and wait for him while he finished his pint [or two!]. It was gone 8:30pm when we eventually got in and got sorted. It was a lovely town house - over 3 floors and he had just put in 2 brand new bathroom suites!! 


We got ready and went out around 10:30pm.......it was a long night.


Staggered out of the taxi at 3:40am =P 


Went to sleep on the comfiest bed =)


Got up and got sorted about 10:00am......we all wandered round Edinburgh for several hours [my feet were killing me!!!!]


Got the train [first class] home at 3:30pm. 


Overall a fabulous time!!

IPHONE

My iphone was stolen today by some random in broad daylight. His mate distracted my mum then swiped it off my desk while I was in the toilet. 


TWAT!


I feel like I have lost a limb *cries*


I have no idea what to do now.

Harrie the Hat

This is my new winter hat "Harrie" he is so warm and cuddly! He actually has eye holes so you can put it down over your face and still see =D 

The other night father requested I get some wine for him....so I went to Morrisons [wearing Harrie] but only when I got to the queue at the till did I realise I may not get served alcohol wearing said hat and having no I'D on me.

Luckily the man in front of me had a hissy fit about a plastic bag which distracted the till lady enough to not even ask for ID. Or she thought my hat was so silly no one under 21 would even consider going out in public wearing it! =P

It's November tomorrow =o

So today is the 31st October [Halloween - what a pile of crap!]

Clocks went back one hour last night =] so had a lovely extra hour in bed. However after about 10 hours sleep I feel like utter poo today - got a right grump on =[

My tip of a bedroom desperately needs sorting out [I currently have a house worth of crap crammed into just 2 rooms] but to be truthful I just cannot be arsed! I would much rather slob about all day in my pjs possibly watching Glee or Twilight to make me feel better.

The other half is off at Newcastle watching the football with his mum - so unlikely to hear anything from him till quite late this evening ------------> saying that he has just rang me this second to inform me that Newcastle are winning 3-0!

I hate football.

I am going to find food now. May attempt to tidy rooms.

Our new home.....

This is our new living room [which is actually a conservatory] but it's very homely now =D

A Fresh Start......

So I have put my notice in to the estate agents to end our tenancy and we are moving back in with mum and dad =] who have turned the dining room and conservatory into a bedsit =D

I swapped my blackberry with my brothers iphone - and I LOVE IT!!!!! I am a very happy bunny!!

I have also just sold my Rover and purchased a green Micra with Orange stars on!!! Father and I are going to pick it up tomorrow from Rotherham! I am really rather excited!

I have a day off work tomorrow......so I intend to pack up the house [which currently looks like a bomb hit it] and get everything ready to move across to mums. 

All for now.

Another New Chapter....

So my new job is going great!!! I love it! Yes it's a little exhausting and so much to learn - but I am really enjoying it. 


I am going to be moving back in with my parents [who are going to change the dining room and conservatory into a bedsit for me] so I can save some money and be financially better off =]


So.....need to find a cheap car that is insurance group one and automatic. 


Possibly a Nissan Micra. 


Fingers crossed my Rover sells quickly so I can start a new adventure!!

Not supposed to be at work today as it's mums week but fancied going in today so I can learn my properties!!

Mum can get a proper lunch break if I am in too =]

I nearly sold my first house yesterday!

A good week overall......

I have had a great first week at my new job as an estate agent =)

Towards the start of the week I was feeling a little dumb but today I have done really well on the new systems and arranged loads of viewing (thanks to Nic and Sam for coming in and arranging 2)

I feel a little lost having NO WORK to do until Tuesday due to the Bank Holiday!

Finally I can have a life!!

Money money money....

Gave £2.00 to a Busker today =)

He was very good. He has been there all week - and after walking past him every lunchtime this week I decided he deserved it =)

I also spent £39.00 on a handbag =0
It is very nice though!

Nearly time to.....

START MY NEW JOB!!

Wohooooo very excited!! Will be starting an induction at Newcastle tomorrow morning! Only two of us on the induction so should learn lots! Fingers crossed traffic isn't too horrendous in the morning =S

I think I know where I am going - but shall take the Sat Nav just in case =P

A Trip to IKEA with Mum

Today Mother and I took a trip to Newcastle to find out where I need to go for my Induction for my new job =]

We decided as we were in the area - we may as well go to IKEA and get some Swedish Meatballs and Dime Bar cake for lunch!! Nom Nom Nom!!

I LOVE IKEA! Definitely my FAVOURITE shop of all time!!

Today I spent a whole half an hour on the kitchen floor re-assembling 3 A4 documents that had been torn into tiny pieces....not to mention they were in a bag full of lots of other tiny pieces of paper =[ eeek. I completed it though! I have found a new career....

The Next Chapter

So....today is the final day in my current job as a Recruitment Coordinator. I have been here for 14 Months! It has passed so quickly! I suppose towards the end, the constant 5.30am starts and late finishes were starting to take their toll. I don't particularly like being on call 24/7 every other weekend. It sucks. 

So I am going to be an ESTATE AGENT for a while =] to give me some extra time to study and gain experience in order to become a Support Worker. It's all so exciting!! 

This job will be 9.00am till 5.30pm. Far more agreeable to me.

I can now restart my social life!
